Saturday 23 March 2024
St Gabriel's Church, Billingshurst
We have a limited number of tickets available for soprano and tenor voices to join us on Saturday, 23rd March 2024 for the opportunity to sing Mozart’s Requiem in the afternoon with a full professional orchestra and soloists and perform to an audience in the evening.
Founder and Artistic Director of the Hastings Philharmonic Orchestra (HPO) and Ensemble OrQuesta, Music Director of Hastings Philharmonic Choir (HPC), vocal coach and a professional baritone, Marcio da Silva is the dynamic and experienced Music Director who will conduct the Mozart Requiem. He took up the baton for BCS in 2021 and he has a wealth of experience to lead this incredible Come & Sing event.
The Come and Sing Event: Is this for you?
Ideally participants should have some experience of singing in a choir and have sung the Mozart Requiem before, even if it was a number of years ago. If you are a competent musician and can sightread but have not had the opportunity to perform this wonderful work before, you will certainly enjoy this experience!
